On November 5th, 2009, little EEBA made her way into the Android Market. A wee babe of an app, EEBA 1.0 lacked many of the features we’ve come to love about EEBA. You could set Envelopes, record transactions, and sync everything to the cloud, but that was it. Yet even those humble beginnings were enough to let users track their spending and stick to their budgets wherever they went.
Over the next two years we worked hard to listen to our users and continually improve EEBA based on your feedback. Core features such as Accounts and our recent iPhone release are a direct result of your feedback. Smaller changes too, such as tooltip descriptions and the location of different links have been influenced by what we hear from you.
It’s been an amazing two years, and we’ve never gotten over how helpful you all have been in your support for EEBA. We’re genuinely blown away each day by your openness in talking about your lives with us, and in your creativity in figuring out answers to often tricky financial situations. It has been an honor, and a pleasure, to have journeyed with you all these past two years, and we’re excited to think about what the next year with EEBA will bring.
