Introducing Goodbudget Premium
Many of you have told us that being able to connect with your banks would make it easier for you to stay up-to-date with your transactions.
Now, with Goodbudget Premium, subscribers get access to the features that allow Goodbudget to sync with their banks for $10 / month or $80 / year.
Goodbudget’s Plus plan will not change
The existing Plus plan will not change! Your price remains the same, and you’re welcome to use it for as long as you’d like. If you’d like to continue on with the Plus plan, you’ll be able to do so without any changes or interruptions. The features that allow folks to sync are only available on the Premium plan, and all the things you’ve come to count on with Plus will still be available to you.
Why a new plan vs. updating the existing plan?
Supporting automatic bank sync requires additional costs, so we created a new Premium plan level for folks who will find those features beneficial. That allows us to keep the existing Plus plan available (at the same price point) for existing subscribers whose needs are sufficiently met by that plan.

Happy budgeting,
The Goodbudget Team

Thank you for splitting this into two tiers. My household has been very happy with Goodbudget for eleven years, since it was EEBA! We are subscribers to the Plus tier. The consistency has been remarkable, with changes coming only every so often and always for the better. I place a high value on consistency. Goodbudget is one of the few digital products that is not subject to frequent UI changes and useless features thrown in as marketing gimmicks. I have had maybe two problems needing input from support, ever! The fact that you still offer a free plan is incredible, too.
Hi Aaron – Wow, 11 years! Amazing! Thanks for supporting our work for all this time 😀 We hope we can continue to be a consistent product that enables you to budget well for many years to come.
Is the cost of the premium, plan in addition to the plus plan ($8.00/mo +$!0.00/mo = $18.00/mo) or Premium is stand alone at $10.00/Mo?
Thanks for your post! The Premium plan is a standalone plan, and is $10/month or $80/year.
I see the Plus plan is no longer available for new joiners. Will current subscribers be able to continue with the Plus plan (and its price) once it comes the time to renew it?
Hi Marcelo — The Plus Plan is still available to new subscribers! (New folks can subscribe to Plus here.) Current Plus subscribers will be able to continue on with Plus for as long as they’d like. Hope that helps
