I created new Envelopes, but they’re not filled?

When you create a new Envelope, it does not automatically get filled. Instead, you’ll need to manually allocate money to it from your most recent Fill transaction.

Here’s how you can add funds to your new Envelope, so it’s green and ready for spending!

How to edit your last Fill:

On the web:

  1. Go to your Transaction History.
  2. Locate your most recent Fill transaction and click on it to open.
  3. Scroll to find the new Envelope(s) you just created.
    • They should be easy to spot because they won’t be green since they have not been funded yet.
  4. Enter the amount you want to allocate in the amount field next to the Envelope.
  5. Click Update when you’re done making changes.

On your phone:

  1. Head to the Transactions tab > tap on your last Fill
  2. Tap on your new Envelope
  3. Select how much you’d like to add to it
  4. Tap Save (iPhone) or the checkmark (Android) when you’re done

What Happens Next?

  • The Envelope will turn green, indicating you’ve filled it with money.
  • The Envelope is now ready for spending.
