The world is in a much different place now than many of us would have thought at the start of 2020. In the midst of the ongoing pandemic, recession, and protests for racial justice, we have been reexamining our understanding of the economy we live in. Because while Goodbudget continues to focus on budgeting, the reality is that we always budget within the context of a larger economy.

We certainly don’t have all the answers, and we’re looking outside of ourselves in order to understand better. If you’re on a similar journey, we’d like to invite you to take a look at some of what we’ve been reading, watching, and listening to as we continue to learn and grow ourselves. In our learning journeys, we’ve sometimes been both uncomfortable and inspired. We hope the content we share will challenge you to think outside of your own budget too.
