Download Goodbudget on your iPhone
You can download the Goodbudget app onto your iPhone in the App Store. Have an Android? No problem, just head to our Goodbudget on Android page to download Goodbudget and get started.
Share your Household
To share your Household with your phone, tap on “Login” and enter the Household Username / email address and password that you registered with. If you haven’t registered yet, you can choose “Create a New Household” to get started.
Once you’ve logged in, you can edit your budget, fill your Envelopes and add your expenses.
Getting around Goodbudget on iPhone
There are four tabs at the bottom of the screen that you can use to navigate your virtual Envelopes and track your spending.
Envelopes tab
When you first login to Goodbudget, you’ll see the Envelope overview page where you can see how much you have left to spend in each category, add expenses and edit your budget. To see your transaction history for a particular category, just tap on the Envelope.
If you’re a Premium subscriber, the Envelopes tab is where you’ll look to see if you have new automatically imported transactions to Confirm.
Transactions tab
The Transaction history tab at the bottom of the screen will show you all of your transactions. You can edit a transaction by tapping on it. You can also search your transaction history by tapping the magnifying glass in the upper-left.
Accounts tab
To see the current balance in your accounts, just tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen. Here, you can create new Accounts and see your transactions by Account.
Reports Tab
Wondering how much you spent this past month? Look no further! Just tap on the Reports tab to see a breakdown of your spending.
And there’s more! Tap on “Reports” at the top left of the screen to see the rest of your reports, or tap on the icon on the right to filter your report for a specific time period.
More Tab
Need to manage your subscription or log out? You can do all that and more by tapping on the More Tab.
